The purpose of this study: 1) to analyze the effect of group motivation, leadership groups, farmer knowledge, and the role of information exposure village officials on the role of members of the group, and 2) analyze the effect of group motivation, leadership groups, farmer knowledge, exposure information, the role of the village administration and the role of members of the group to the sustainability of beef cattle breeders group. The research was conducted in Sragen from September to November 2010. Research using survey methods. Data were collected through interviews with questionnaires to 220 respondents. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that: 1) motivation groups, leadership groups, farmer knowledge, and the role of information exposure village officials affect the role of the members of the group and 2) motivation groups, leadership groups, farmer knowledge, exposure information, the role of village officials and members of the influential role the sustainability of beef cattle farmer groups in Sragen.
