The paper gives a plan of the lesson for 6th grade pupils on the topic «Vowel alternation in stems. Revision». The lesson is in the form of a game. The paper provides methodical analysis of the lesson. The author gives the example of the gaming techniques as a means of good motivation and stimulation of students to intensify training activities. These techniques keep all the students engaged in the learning process and teach them responsibility for the personal results and the results of the whole team. During the lesson different kinds of student activity were used, such as frontal, individual and pair work. The great importance is given to the active work of students not only at every stage of the lesson but during preparation also.
