Description
Summary:The study aims to write nursing diagnosis for diabetic woman, based on the patterns of human ansewer, in order to plan nursing interventions. It was developed in the Service of Endocrinology and Diabetes of the University Hospital Walter Cantídio of UFC. The project was constituted of 23 pregnant women with previous history of diabetes or gestacional diabetes. The data collection was made by means of structured interviews. The obtained data received statistical treatment with absolute and relative calculation of frequencies besides the Qi-square test. For the diagnosis elaborations, process we considered the most significative data, what happened in two stager: data. Analysis end synthesis and composition of the diagnosis itself. The results allowed to establish 15 diagnoses of, being 4 for the pattern “changing”; 3 “for moving”; 2 for “to notice” and “to feel”. Respectively, and 1 for each of the other considered patterns. two “potential complications” were still detected for the studied clientele. Finally, we conclude that the use of the nursing diagnosis enhanos the nurses’ knowledge abouth the theoretical references, the clinicai opinion, beside contributing for the improvement of the quality of the assistance. However the disbelief and the devaluation atribbuted by the nurses to consider the taxonomy of the diagnosis as the working instrument is observed.
