Summary:This text proposes a lecture on different interpretations given around the relation between politics and populism. We mainly focus in the way in which that relation has gained new strength since the publication of On populist reason by Ernesto Laclau. In that sense, we explore the paths in which many intellectuals have interpreted that new strength during the process of philosophical and political believes renovation given after the moment that Oscar Terán calls “the fallen of great ideals”.
