Therefore, this study aimed to determine and compare the views of nurses, nursing students and patients view in this city over the nurses, role. Methods: In this descriptive and analytical study, samples were patients and nurses working in various wards in educational hospitals and nursing students in 7-8 and 4-5 semesters. 75 nurses, 50 students, and 75 patients were randomly selected and their data were collected by questionnaire and check list over two months. Results: The results showed that within the care, coordinator, educator and advocate dimensions, there is no significant difference between the three groups, but in treatment and protection roles, there was significant difference between the groups' attitude scores P<0.05. In the whole group, patients had higher scores in most areas compared to nurse and student groups. Conclusion: According to the results of this study, students and nurses had lower attitude score compared to patients. So, regarding to the important role of nurses, it is necessary that knowledge of nursing student increases in studying time.
