Description
Summary:The circumstances that relate to the reality of the human being put him in opposition with his humanization, that is to say, in contrast with his humanism. Many crises exist today in this aspect, and despite technological, scientific, and biomedical advances, in which the center of everything is the person, the humanity and the humanization deteriorate, and with that man himself, his values, principles, rights, dignity, and quality of life. In this focus appears bioethics as a bridge that unites science and humanism, and exercises the ethical principles that, without the idea of dignity, become unintelligible. Although there will always be crises, each crisis demands overcoming it searching for other means and methods that will permit returning to the person, his humanity, his humanism and his humanization. This new concern of the humanization of health from bioethics, leads to practices being in conformity with the patient and with the respect that his human dignity and quality of life demand.
