THE METODS OF ASOCIAL PHENOMENA CRITICAL REFLECTION IN MASS MEDIA

<p><span class="hps"><span lang="EN-US">The novelty of</span></span><span lang="EN-US"> <span class="hps">the study is</span> <span class="hps">that the</span> <span class="hps">author first</span> <span class="hps">identifies the main</span> <span class="hps">methods</span> <span class="hps">of reflection</span> <span class="hps">and criticism of</span> <span class="hps">asocial phenomena</span> <span class="hps">in journalism.</span> <span class="hps">The introduced</span> <span class="hps">concept of “</span>the methods of critical <span class="hps">reflection” is identified."</span> The features of method’s application<span class="hps"> are described.</span> <span class="hps">The subject of study</span> <span class="hps">is the method of</span> <span class="hps">representation of reality</span> <span class="hps">in the content</span> <span class="hps">of periodicals.</span> <span class="hps">The theoretical</span> <span class="hps">value of the study</span> <span class="hps">is to increase</span> <span class="hps">understanding of</span> <span class="hps">the methods</span>, the nature <span class="hps">and method of</span> <span class="hps">displaying</span> <span class="hps">the existing</span> <span class="hps">objective</span> <span class="hps">social reality in</span> <span class="hps">the media.</span> <span class="hps">Testing</span> <span class="hps">was performed</span> <span class="hps">on the</span> <span class="hps">data</span> <span class="hps">sample</span> <span class="hps">materials</span> <span class="hps">of the Russian</span> <span class="hps">socio-political and</span> <span class="hps">business newspaper</span> <span class="hps">"Izvestia"</span> <span class="hps">three</span> <span class="hps">historical periods.</span> <span class="hps">An attempt was made</span> <span class="hps">to compare</span> <span class="hps">the proposed methods</span>, reflecting <span class="hps">asocial phenomena</span> <span class="hps">that have occurred in</span> <span class="hps">society</span> <span class="hps">in different periods of</span> <span class="hps">history.</span> <span class="hps">The results</span> <span class="hps">of this study</span> <span class="hps">may clarify the</span> <span class="hps">boundaries</span> <span class="hps">of asociality of journalism and</span> <span class="hps">position in</span> <span class="hps">light</span> <span class="hps">of asocial</span> <span class="hps">phenomena.</span></span></p><p><strong>DOI: <a href="http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/2218-7405-2013-4-22">http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/2218-7405-2013-4-22</a></strong></p>
