Aquatic Hemiptera of Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, India

Two ponds in Gauhati University were surveyed for aquatic Hemiptera from July 2007 to June 2008. A total of 14 species were recorded belonging to seven families. The smaller but a natural swampy pond (B) was found to all 14 species while the artificially made pond (A) had only 11 species.
