Description
Summary:At 20 kV feeder outages typically caused by short circuit. If the adjustment over current relay (OCR) in the incoming or outgoing unfavorable, can cause a total blackout (black out). One of the efforts is by resetting the relay protection in distribution feeders 20 kV substation Pauh Limo, so well coordinated with each other and is expected if an interruption in one of the feeders 20 kV it will not bring black out the other feeders. Based on the analysis of short circuit current on each feeder, where the short circuit fault current is the largest three-phase feeder Tingga Koto, the fault location 1%, which amounted to 7326.99 Ampere. This is because the channel Koto Tingga shortest compared to other feeders, namely = 9 km and load current = 230 Ampere. Working time relays in feeders (seconds) : Kuranji = 0.3, Koto Tingga = 0.298, Teluk Bayur-2 = 0.292, Teluk Bayur-1 = 3, BLKI = 0.3, Kandis = 0.3 and feeders UNAND = 0.3. On the incoming side of the relay working time is 0.7 seconds. Setting the relay needs to be done resetting especially on feeder side.
