In comparison of both groups, renal transplant patients were generally younger and more likely to receive an uncemented implant, whereas haemodialysis patients had approximately twice the infection rate and higher rates of mortality, revision, aseptic loosening, and hip dislocation. Both groups had increased complication rates, compared with patients without renal failure.https://doi.org/10.1177/230949901402200325
