The aim of this paper is to present diverse procedures for the solar potential analysis in urban environments. Models and tools, based on the implementation of geo-information technologies and airborne remote sensing data, have been developed considering a certain level of complexity, where urban structure is composed of different areas characterized by their morphology and function. Before any analysis, establish the available information and define the three-dimensional modeling of the urban environment are the first actions.
