Summary:Logistics tasks have accompanied human beings since the beginning of time – the only thing that has changed is the perception of those tasks. Companies compete with one another in order to hold the position of the strongest player on the market, achieve a better position and gain comfortable profit. In the competitive battle the tools and techniques of logistics that contribute to the improvement of the competitive position of a company, are of prime importance.
