Summary:At present a significant number of power interruptions take place in the electrical networks, and they are determined by the influence of random factors. Ensuring the continuity of electricity supply to consumers is a very current issue for the National Electric System. In order to increase the reliability of electrical networks it is absolutely necessary to know the factors that cause power interruptions of the installed equipment and their characteristics for planning different land, technical, operational and other service activities. The present paper is focused on the problems concerning the calculation and assessment of reliability indicators of the equipment installed in electrical networks and also on the continuity of electricity supply to consumers, both agricultural and industrial ones.
