Compared with the finite element numerical simulation, the results reflect the stress and deformation distribution law of the dam. Then, the failure mode of the cemented sand and gravel dam can be visualized by using the water load overload method to conduct the structural model failure test, and the failure mode and failure mechanism of the cemented sand and gravel dam can be discussed.
