Description
Summary:The primary characteristic of previous concrete is high porosity with interconnected voids between aggregate particles. This permits the use of this specialty concrete as a permeable pavement material. It prevents storm water runoff from causing flooding and erosion downstream. This paper attempts to optimize the compressive strength and infiltration rate of pervious concrete for use as a pavement material in low traffic parking lot areas at a site in suburban Mumbai.
