Description
Summary:Interline Power Flow Controllers (IPFC) have been used to enhance and optimize the use of transmission facilities, under the concept of a Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS). The main objectives of FACTS are to increase the useable transmission capacity of lines and control power flow over designated transmission routes. Interline Power Flow Controllers are the classical-series or seriesparallel filters applied to given number of independent lines with common, DC element. The simulation results of current fed IPFC are presented.
