EMERGING STRATEGIC THINKING IN BUILDING SUSTAINABLE REALITY FOR EDN

This research was aimed to investigate the elements of the emerging strategic thinking and sustainable development at the managerial level of Endogenous Development Nucleus (EDN). The research was based an interpretative perspective with the use the hermeneutic method and data collection technique applied was in-depth interviews to three EDN in Venezuela. Of the process of analysis and interpretation of information emerged eight (8) categories or elements of the strategic thinking, and four (4) categories constitutive of sustainable human development in the EDN management level, and conclude that knowledge of the informants is closely linked to the theoretical postulates of strategic thinking that emphasizes a reasoned judgment, clarity and consistency in the decisions of who lead an Organization.
