Reflections on the Conceptions of Conflict in Human Geography

This paper presents some notes about the analysis of conflicts in human geography, from the approach of the constitution of a geography of conflicts. The text is divided into two parts. In the first, conflict is defined from the   political geography approach. In the second part, we show how the conflict is understood and treated in each sphere  of human geography, by using that we call the geographical matrix or matrix of spaciality. Such a matrix covers three main domains, namely: the society-nature relations domain, the spatial and society relations domain, and the subjects places relations domain. The text concludes with a brief reference to the meaning of a geography of conflicts.
