Description
Summary:In the present work, we try to understand if and how the Streetball can contribute to the teaching of Basketball, so that it can collaborate positively with the human development. For this, a bibliographical and documentary research was done, which allowed us to better understand the subject and reflect on it. We conclude that due to its characteristics, if based on the Pedagogy of Sport and its references, the process of teaching, experience and learning of Basketball through Streetball can be facilitated. Considering that the diversification of students' roles and sports practice can positively contribute to the development of students and their permanence in lifelong sport, the characteristics of Streetball can make it easier for students to experience different roles during sports, by Basketball, 3x3 Basketball and/or by approaching Hip-Hop culture, which can help students to become interested in these practices and engage in them for longer.
