Qualidade de Vida na Terceira Idade: um Estudo de Caso do SESC Alagoas

The objective of this paper is to analyze the quality of life of old-aged that are involved in programs of SESC ALAGOAS. To evaluate the quality of life of old-aged has a scientific and social importance. It permits to implement valid intervention alternatives in general social polities to promote the well-being of old-aged people. Was realized an exploratory study with 135 old-aged that participate of activities offered by SESC ALAGOAS. It represents 71% of total population investigated. The approaches these research are qualitative and quantitative. It promotes a better vision and understanding of problem. The data collect was realized by interview and questionary. The data was analyzed by SPSS – Statistical Package for the Social Sciences. The results showed that 81% of old-aged has a nice or very nice quality of life. The results are associated with concentration capability, recreations activities access, to be put out of joint capability, work capability, personal relationship and held services access.
