In this practice-led research project, the creative work undertaken focuses on the creation of a design concept of an augmented reality puzzle game, envisioned to be installed in a children's discovery centre at the museum, and designed to facilitate creative engagement and social interactions among its visitors. This practice-led thesis is comprised of 50 per cent creative work supported by a 50 per cent written exegesis. The creative outcome of this research is presented in the form of a game concept, attached in a separate document. The written exegesis presented herein contextualises this work in relevant literature, rationalises the methodological approach, and describes the experiences and challenges that were encountered in the creative process.
