To gain staying power in the industry, manufacturers must be able to produce high quality goods within the stipulated time and in the quantity needed by their customers. To achieve this, manufacturers do not only depend on financial solidity, but also on efficient business processes that will drive the company forward. Base on this need, manufacturers are beginning to realize the importance of managing their data and business processes into a more efficient manner so that they can maintain their competitive edge over their rivals. The Supply Chain Management System (SCM) that was developed as a result of this research, will go a long way to help the management of Kian Joo Canpack (Shah Alam) Sdn. Bhd in achieving this goal. This system integrates the different divisions in the company. What the system does is to function as a connector between the processes of handling customer orders, buying raw materials for production, keeping track of the movements of goods and delivery of goods to customers. In addition to that, the system will also generate reports for each division so that it could be analyzed by the management. The analysis done would then be able to help the management make more informed and accurate business decisions in order to futher enhance their competitiveness and overall performance.
