EISU Carolinne M B Vieira.pdf: 2071333 bytes, checksum: b81bd86cc678cbc9d2dde4fabd1535c8 (MD5) === Fapesb === Essa dissertação pretende descrever a investigação sobre os fatores predominantes na escolha dos estudantes pelos Bacharelados Interdisciplinares (BI) da Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA). Para isso foram realizados dois estudos. O primeiro caracterizou-se por um estudo do estado da arte sobre os fatores predominantes na escolha vocacional/profissional e o segundo por uma pesquisa qualitativa exploratória que teve por objetivos investigar se a escolha pelos BI implicava em uma busca vocacional e identificar quais fatores motivaram e influenciaram a escolha pelos cursos, além de averiguar se os estudantes tinham um conhecimento mais aprofundado acerca dos BI ao ingressar. Os resultados dos estudos demonstraram que os fatores envolvidos na escolha vocacional/profissional coincidem com os fatores que influenciam a escolha pelos BI, mas não em seus motivos. A pesquisa revelou também a presença de uma indecisão vocacional/profissional nos estudantes dos Bacharelados Interdisciplinares, bem como um conhecimento mais informal sobre os BI ao ingressar. Portanto esse estudo pode contribuir para o fortalecimento e crescimento dos BI na UFBA, já que mostra sua importância em oferecer uma formação mais ampla, interdisciplinar e oportunizar um tempo maior para escolha vocaciona/profissional, o que pode contribuir para uma maior maturidade nesta escolha. === This thesis aims to describe the research on the prevailing factors in students’ choice for Interdisciplinary Bachelors (BI) of the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Thereunto two studies were conducted. The first one featured a study of the state of the art on the prevailing factors in vocational/career choice and the second one an exploratory qualitative research that aimed to investigate if the choice for BI involved in a vocational pursuit and identify what factors motivated and influenced the choice for the courses, besides ascertaining if the students had a better understanding about the BI when joining in. The study results showed that the factors involved in vocational/career choice coincide with the factors that influence the choice by BI, but not in its motives. The research also revealed the presence of a vocational/career indecision in students of Interdisciplinary Bachelors, as well as a more informal knowledge about the BI when joining in. Therefore this study may contribute to the strengthening and growth of BI at UFBA, since it shows its importance in offering a broader, interdisciplinary training and providing more time to vocational/career choice, which can contribute to more maturity in this choice.
