=== The object of this work is the presentation of a simple triangular finite element for plates and shells. Since the rotation fields are assumed independent of the displacement fields, simple shape functions of second and third degree were used. An implicit penalty method allows one to solve thin shell problemas since the Kirchoff- Love hypothesis are automatically satisfied. |
