COORDENAÇÃO DE APERFEIÇOAMENTO DO PESSOAL DE ENSINO SUPERIOR === Avaliando o alcance do conceito freudiano de pulsão de morte na teoria psicanalítica, contemplam-se alguns dos efeitos importantes da pulsão de morte, não só para a concepção do sujeito como igualmente para as formações sociais, já que, dentre os dotes pulsionais do sujeito freudiano, está a destrutividade de Thanatos, presente no processo de constituição do sujeito e do mundo objetal. Formulado somente em 1920 por Sigmund Freud em seu artigo intitulado Além do princípio do prazer, o conceito de pulsão de morte é a coroação de uma série de modificações importantes na teoria pulsional freudiana que inauguram a destrutividade como um dado irredutível da alma humana. Trata-se de um elemento radicalmente novo que vem no seio de uma transformação importante na metapsicologia. É que a proposição da pulsão de morte é um dos elementos de um novo campo conceitual solidário produzido a partir de 1920, que inclui: o masoquismo e o supereu como primários, a compulsão à repetição e a função fundamental do sentimento de culpa inconsciente na vida em cultura, com que Freud dá conta de fenômenos clínicos e sociais que colocaram em questão a teoria de que dispunha anteriormente. === Evaluating the role of the Freudian concept of death drive in the psychoanalytic theory, some of the important effects of the death drive are taken into account, not only for the conception of the subject but also for the social formations, once amongst the drives of the Freudian subject, the destructiveness of Thanatos is present in the process of constitution of subjectivity and of the object world. Formulated only in 1920 by Sigmund Freud in his article entitled Beyond the principle of the pleasure, the concept of death drive is the crown of a series of important modifications in Freudian drive theory which inaugurate destructivity as a irreducible element of the human soul. It is a radically new element that is a part of an important transformation in metapsychology. The proposal of the death drive is one of the elements of a new conceptual field which is constructed since 1920, which includes: masochism and superego as primary, compulsion to repetition, and the basic function of the unconscious guilt feelings in the life in civilization, that can take into account clinical and social phenomena that had questioned the theory that was in use previously.
