Defesa: Curitiba, 08/2014 === Inclui referências === Resumo: Partindo da análise das significações histórico-sociais sobre do corpo, a primeira problematização do presente trabalho buscou colocar em perspectiva os critérios de inteligibilidade do corpo em diferentes contextos. A compreensão do corpo em seus sentidos plurais é aqui trabalhada como os diversos contextos de conhecimento que se colocam como condição de possibilidade de existência de uma precisa leitura do corpo na história. A partir dessa leitura construtivista de corpo, outro elemento é chamado para o diálogo: as técnicas que atuam no e sobre o corpo para inseri-lo num espaço-tempo referencial aos sentidos recebidos pela tecnologia de sua decifração. Procurou-se estabelecer as diferentes vias tecnológicas atuantes no e sobre o corpo desde a antiguidade tardia até a contemporaneidade, traduzido pelo percurso da ascese à bioascese. O arco que busca compreender a produção do corpo por diferentes matrizes de conhecimento e práticas técnicas, leva a uma tentativa de repor as filosofias que se ocuparam do corpo como núcleo de pensamento. São retomados, assim, os pensamentos de Nietzsche e de Foucault. Cada um destes autores, a seu modo, auxilia na decifração dos elementos que estão em jogo num cenário de conhecimento e de práticas sobre o corpo. Nietzsche vê na tajetória da história da filosofia e da cultura uma estratégia de controle e contenção do corpo enraizada na moral metafísica que preside a cultura e o projeto político ocidental. Com isso, ele nos coloca diante de um problema fundamental: a história da cultura, da moral e da política é história de adestramento das potências do corpo. Entre política e regulação biológica existe uma relação estreita de interação. Mas é Foucault quem vai pensar tanto as disciplinas quanto a biopolítica como práticas tecnológicas de normalização do corpo e da vida. A preocupação deste trabalho foi a de mostrar que, apesar de a literatura padrão sobre a biopolítica se centrar na regulação do vivente, a biopolítica possui uma relação fundamental com o corpo. A população e o corpo, como dois níveis distintos, porém inseparáveis, da realidade biopolítica, aparecem no cenário da pesquisa. O lugar de visibilidade desta relação de interação entre corpo e biopolítica é o campo jurídico. As práticas das políticas públicas de saúde, embora amparadas conceitualmente nos princípios da autonomia da pessoa, mostram sua efetividade na ordenação e regulação da vida pela contenção e ordenação do corpo. === Abstract: Analyzing the historical and social meanings of the body, the first questioning of the present study sought to put into perspective the criteria of understandability of the body in different contexts. The understanding of the body in its plural senses is worked here as the various contexts of knowledge that arise as a condition of possibility of a precise reading of the body in history. From this constructivist reading of body, another element is called for dialogue: techniques that operate in and on the body to insert it in reference to the senses received by its space-time decoding technology. Sought to establish the different technological pathways acting in and on the body from late antiquity to contemporaneity, translated by the path from asceticism to bioascesis. The arc that seeks to understand the body's production of different matrices of knowledge and practical techniques leads to an attempt to reset the philosophies that occupied the body as the core of thought. Are thus taken up the thoughts of Nietzsche and Foucault. Each of these authors, in their own way, helps in decoding the elements that are at play in knowledge and practices on the body scenario. Nietzsche sees in the history of philosophy and culture a strategy of containment and control of the body rooted in moral metaphysics who chairs the culture and Western political project. With that, he presents us with a fundamental problem: the history of culture, morality and politics is history of powers dressage of the body. Between politics and biological regulation there is highly dependent interaction. But is Foucault who will think both disciplines as biopolitics as technological practices standardization body and life. The concern of this work was to show that although the default on biopolitics literature focus on the regulation of living, biopolitics has a fundamental relationship with the body. The population and the body as two distinct levels, but inseparable, biopolitics actually appear in the research scenario. The place of visibility of this interaction relationship between body and biopolitics is the legal field. The practice of public health policies, although conceptually supported the principles of individual autonomy, show its effectiveness in the ordering and regulation of life by containment and ordering the body.
