Previous issue date: 2017-11-29 === One of the greatest challenges of the teacher today is the search for the development of students
’capacity to learn and the way knowledge is constructed, that is, the students’ learning process is
the object of investigation. Exposing contents, reproducing formulas and calculations in a way that
is foreign to everyday applications almost always causes a lack of interest in the search for learning.
This work aims to highlight mathematical modeling, as it is a basic skill because it has important
applications in the contents of Physics applied in high school. There are several ways to approach
content in a way that engages the interest and curiosity of the student. In this dissertation, practical
activities are reported that allow the student to solve problems in a practical way, providing the
contact and communication between students, stimulating learning and motivation, facilitating the
understanding of the subjects of Physics. === Um dos maiores desafios do professor atualmente é a busca pelo desenvolvimento da capacidade
de aprender dos alunos e do modo como se constrói o conhecimento, ou seja, o processo de
aprendizagem dos alunos é objeto de investigação. Expor conteúdos, reproduzir fórmulas e cálculos
de forma alheia às aplicabilidades ao cotidiano quase sempre provoca a falta de interesse na
busca do aprendizado. Este trabalho tem por objetivo destacar a modelagem matemática, por ser
uma habilidade básica porque tem importantes aplicações nos conteúdos da Física aplicados no
ensino médio. Existem diversas formas de abordar um conteúdo de modo a despertar o interesse
e a curiosidade do aluno. Nesta dissertação, são relatadas atividades práticas que possibilitam ao
aluno resolver problemas de modo prático, proporcionando o contato e a comunicação entre os
estudantes, dinamizando a aprendizagem e motivação, facilitando a compreensão dos assuntos da
Física.
