Através de inquéritos policiais referentes aos crimes de Homicídio e estupro, investigo a construção de masculinidades e sua relação com a violência, frente a um novo modelo de cidade que surgia neste período. Procuro compreender quem eram os homens envolvidos nestes crimes, quais suas motivações, de que discursos se utilizavam e, por fim, problematizo como o periódico local Folha d'Oeste noticiava os crimes e a violência de Chapecó e região. Percebendo as masculinidades presentes nos inquéritos policiais busco evidenciar as disputas sociais, culturais, econômicas e políticas na construção dos discursos sobre o ?ser homem? na cidade de Chapecó.<br> === Abstract : This work analyze the relation between violence and masculinity in Chapecó-SC, between the years 1958 to 1974. Through police inquiries concerning to crimes of Homicide and rape, investigate the construction of masculinities and their relation with the violence, front a new city model that surged in this period. I search to understand who the men were involved in these crimes, what their motivations, what discourse is were using and, finally questioning as the local newspaper Folha d'Oeste were reporting the crimes and the violence in Chapecó and region. Perceiving masculinities present in police inquiries try to evidence the social disputes, cultural, economic and political in the construction of discourses about "being a man" in the city of Chapecó.
