Previous issue date: 2014-12-18 === Coordena??o de Aperfei?oamento de Pessoal de N?vel Superior - CAPES === This study discusses the relationship between Social Work and Popular Education, considering the socio-educational dimension of professional work of the social worker. The purpose of it was to analyze how the production of knowledge in the field of social work expresses the similarities between Social Work and Popular Education in order to identify and strengthen emancipatory processes. Considering, among other factors, the incidence of meetings between Social Work and Popular Education, produced in the context of Health Policy, the study also presents an analysis of Ordinance No. 2761 of 11/19/2013 establishing the National Education Popular in Health Policy as current rules providing for Popular Education as normative, under the Unified Health System. The research was the qualitative type, bibliographic and documentary, with epistemological orientation of dialectical-critical method. Were defined as study universe theses and dissertations in the area of Social Work, the productions published on events and periodic greater national impact area of Social Services, the period of 2006 - 2014. Whereas professional actions must meet the commitment ethical-political assumed as Social Worker in everyday coping with expressions of Social Issues, Popular Education may provide important information for formation and professional performance, with assumptions to support the pedagogical relationship that sets the social and educational dimension of Social Work, direction of emancipatory processes, in that both have as towards human emancipation. In this sense, the social and educational dimension of social work should be a "Socio-Educational Popular Dimension", indicating the education approach that meets the intent of their actions. There is the expectation that the actual outcomes may instigate new critical reflections in a constant movement of thinking about practice ethically and politically committed and and dare to do and redo the practice, realizing "viable-unpublished?. === Este estudo discute a rela??o entre o Servi?o Social e a Educa??o Popular, considerando a dimens?o socioeducativa da atua??o profissional do Assistente Social. O objetivo do mesmo foi analisar como a produ??o de conhecimentos na ?rea do Servi?o Social expressa as aproxima??es entre Servi?o Social e Educa??o Popular, a fim de identificar e potencializar processos emancipat?rios. Considerando, entre outros fatores, a incid?ncia de encontros entre Servi?o Social e Educa??o Popular, produzidos no contexto da Pol?tica de Sa?de, o estudo traz tamb?m uma an?lise da Portaria N? 2.761, de 19/11/2013, que institui a Pol?tica Nacional de Educa??o Popular em Sa?de como normativa atual que prev? a Educa??o Popular como pressuposto, no ?mbito do Sistema ?nico de Sa?de (PNEPS-SUS). A pesquisa realizada foi do tipo qualitativa, bibliogr?fica e documental, com orienta??o epistemol?gica do m?todo dial?tico-cr?tico. Foram definidas como universo de estudo as teses e disserta??es da ?rea de Servi?o Social, as produ??es publicadas em eventos e em peri?dicos de maior repercuss?o nacional da ?rea de Servi?o Social, no per?odo de 2006 ? 2014. Considerando que as a??es profissionais devem atender ao compromisso ?tico-pol?tico assumido, como Assistente Social, no enfrentamento cotidiano das express?es da Quest?o Social, a Educa??o Popular pode fornecer importantes subs?dios para a forma??o e a atua??o profissional, com pressupostos para fundamentar a rela??o pedag?gica que configura a dimens?o socioeducativa do Servi?o Social, na dire??o de processos emancipat?rios, na medida em que ambos t?m como dire??o a emancipa??o humana. Nesse sentido, a dimens?o socioeducativa do Servi?o Social deve ser uma ?Dimens?o Socioeducativa Popular?, indicando a perspectiva de educa??o que atende ? intencionalidade de suas a??es. Tem-se a expectativa de que os resultados verificados possam instigar novas reflex?es cr?ticas, num movimento constante de pensar a pr?tica comprometida ?tica e politicamente e ousar faz?-la e refaze-l?, concretizando ?in?ditos vi?veis?.
