(self-control) is of exceptional importance throughout the Platonic philosophy, at different stages in the production-written dialogue of the Athenian philosopher. It suggests that Plato shows a real philosophical intentionality, not only with the formation of self-control to those who intend "to go" policy, but also extending this training to the interior individuality of each participant in the political community; likewise, it was proposed that the other domain ultimately present as a corollary of knowledge and self care, taking them to these as essentially members of Platonism concepts. It concludes that self-control is a power higher college ????, and so it is a virtue and a purification of themselves capable of being trained / configured on each psychic individuality, constituting as well as spiritual exercise par excellence. The purpose of this practice himself never appears as pure theoretical training, but is also always an activity, a continuous movement that prepared the ethical, political and existential conduct humanly possible. === A partir da compreens?o de duas particulares senten?as da Carta VII (331 d): ?Viver cada dia de modo a que fosse senhor de si mesmo (???????? ????? ?????), o mais poss?vel; ? e (324 c): ?Quando eu era jovem, senti o mesmo que muitos: pensei, logo me tornasse senhor (??????) de mim mesmo, ir direto ? pol?tica; ? a tese pretendera propor o quanto o conceito de ????????? (dom?nio de si) ? de excepcional import?ncia no conjunto da filosofia plat?nica, em distintas etapas, na produ??o escrita-dial?gica do fil?sofo ateniense. Sugestiona-se que Plat?o evidencia uma real intencionalidade filos?fica, n?o somente com a forma??o do dom?nio de si aos que intencionam ?ir? a pol?tica, mas, tamb?m estendendo esta forma??o ao interior de cada individualidade part?cipe na comunidade pol?tica; da mesma forma, prop?s-se que o dom?nio de si acaba por se apresentar como o corol?rio do conhecimento e do cuidado de si, tomando-os a estes, como conceitos essencialmente integrantes do platonismo. Conclui-se que o dom?nio de si mesmo ? uma pot?ncia da faculdade superior da ????, e por isso ? uma virtude e uma purifica??o de si pass?veis de serem formados/configurados em cada individualidade ps?quica, constituindo-se assim como exerc?cio espiritual por excel?ncia. O objetivo desta pr?tica de si nunca se apresenta como pura forma??o te?rica, mas tamb?m ? sempre uma atividade, um movimento cont?nuo que prepara a melhor conduta ?tico-pol?tico-existencial humanamente poss?vel.
