O serviço social no programa de residência multiprofissional em saúde: uma estratégia de consolidação do projeto ético-político profissional?

The aim of this study was to examine the expressions of the particularities of Social Work in the Multidisciplinary Residency Programs in Health, to identify their inclusion in the daily Permanent Education in Health. This was a qualitative research, supported by epistemological orientation of the dialectic-critical method, developed by the following categories: totality, contradiction and historicity. Among the study's findings, it appears that in the Multidisciplinary Residency in Health the counter-hegemonic assumptions of Permanent Education and Health Reform in relation to ongoing societal project can be found. In the insertion of the Social Worker we identify a potential for consolidation of the professional ethical-political project, also directed to conforntation of the hegemonic societary project. However, for this to happen, it is essential to broaden the debate about the work in this area, searching for the theoretical frameworks that ensure the historical-critical understanding of the profession. === Este estudo discute as Particularidades do Serviço Social no contexto dos Programas de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde, em Porto Alegre, nos anos de 2009 e 2010. O objetivo desse estudo foi analisar as expressões das particularidades do Serviço Social nos Programas de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde, a fim de identificar sua inserção no cotidiano da Educação Permanente em Saúde. A pesquisa realizada foi do tipo qualitativa, com orientação epistemológica do método dialético-crítico, a partir das seguintes categorias: totalidade, contradição e historicidade. Entre os resultados do estudo, verifica-se que na Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde podem ser encontrados os pressupostos contra-hegemônicos da Educação Permanente e da Reforma Sanitária, em relação ao projeto societário em curso. Identifica-se, na inserção do Assistente Social, um potencial para a consolidação do projeto ético-político profissional, também direcionado ao eenfrentamento do projeto societário hegemônico. Mas para isso, é fundamental ampliar a reflexão em relação ao trabalho desenvolvido nesse espaço, ouscando subsídios nos referenciais teóricos que garantam a compreensão histórico-crítica da profissão.
