There was not a significant difference between the two groups on the participants thoughts, attitudes, or knowledge. Study Two examined the effect of video self-monitoring on teaching paraprofessionals to implement discrete trial instruction with children with autism. A single-subject multiple baseline design across four participants was utilized. The participants were taught to use discrete trial instruction (DTI) using a video self-monitoring procedure. Results showed that performance feedback was necessary for 3 participants; however, one participant was trained using video self-monitoring only. Performance feedback was rated as the most acceptable treatment.
