| Summary: | In 1994 the Chinese Progressive Association was formally granted space for a community center on Parcel C in Chinatown. In 2003, construction began. Parcel C is now the Metropolitan, a mixed-income and mixed-use high-rise and the permanent home of the Chinese Progressive Association.
