I have deconstructed the principles of animation and interwoven accounts of intimate personal experiences to explore how Transluminal breaks away from our traditional expectation of the animation form and into the material world. In Transluminal, I abstract the human body and physiological processes to create tactile sculptures that provide an immersive sensory experience for the viewer, allowing moments of intimacy, discovery, and humor.
