Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 土木及水利工程研究所 === 79 === Industrial wastes appear mostly in the form of sludge, especially the oil sludge, because of its low density, high moisture content, high heating value, and high viscosity properties, it is suitable to be treated by incineration. This experiment was conducted in a vortexing fluidized bed combustion. The significant difference between the vortexing fluidized bed combustor and the traditional fluidized bed combustor is the addition of secondary air in the freeboard section. The major functions of the secondary air are: (1) increasing fresh air for more complete combustion, (2) recycling solid particles for more contacting with air, and (3) agitating vortically for a higher slip velocity between these of gas and particles and longer particles resident time. A higher slip velocity and a logner resident time will enhance the combustion efficiency. According to the results, the combustion efficiency can reach 98 percent or higher with the addition of the secondary air. If all the combustion air is added as the under fire air, the combustion efficiency will reduce to 96 percent and the carbon monoxide concentration in the flue gas will exceed 4,000 ppm.
