W. 王德民 碩士 淡江大學 機械工程研究所 79 The failure mode of a cracked beam column is cosidered in this thesis. This beam column, may or may not on an elastic foundation, is subjected to both axial and lateral loads. Finite element results show that buckling loads Ncr are hardly influenced by crack location and crack length. the-refore the buckling load of a cracked beam column may be determined first, and the relation between forces and a parameter S1 may be established. In the region forces and S1 are linearly related, the parameter S1 becomes stress intensity factor K1 of the linear elastic fracture mechanics. Then the linear elastic fracture theory may be used to determine if the crack extends. The parameter S1 is obtained by using the virtual crack extension technique. How the elastic foundation affect the relation between S1 and forces are also disscused in this thesis. Liu, Chao-Hwa 劉昭華 1991 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
