The systems studied are 20 wt% MDEA, 15 wt% MDEA + 5 wt% MEA, 5 wt% MDEA + 15 wt% MEA, 20 wt% MEA aqueous solution. The method of Hu and Chakma has been applied to correlate the measured data. This densities and viscosities of three systems of blended amine aqoueus solutions (MEA/MDEA, MEA/AMP, MEA/ PE ) at tempratures 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80°C have also been studied. The blended amine aqueous solutions studied are fifteen systems for density measurements and twenty-two systems for viscosity measurements. Recently the use of blended amines in gas-treating proess is a subject of potentially major industrial importance. The data of vapor-liquid equilibrum, density and viscosity are essential for rational design of the gas-treating process. Thus, the results of this study can be used as a data base for designing the acidic gas-removal process using the aqueous MEA/MDEA solution as the absorption fluid.
