Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 81 === The problem of VAr Planning involves determination of the amounts and locations of new compensators. Especially, treatment of multiple cases including various operating points and contingencies should be taken into account in this problem. In order to reduce the investment cost, one installation pattern is hoped to be obtained for satisfaction of multi-case requirements. In this Dissertation, an enhanced expert system is presented to solve the VAr planning problem. The difficulty of dealing with the fixed cost, variable cost and discrete solution for the new compensator can be overcome via experts' experiences. More importantly, through description of the fuzzy set theory to the membership functions of evidences for the multiple cases, combination of available evidences for fuzzy inference is implemented in the expert system in order to reduce the overall investment cost.
