Under aistributed system environment,we must dispatch datao each node,such a way we can keep every node busy.n this thesis, we propose a load balancing method fordistributed system.@ Before displaying 3D images,we must select ahreshold range to segment the voxels which we arenterested in. But this method usually segment somebjects which we don't want. In this thesis,we alsoropose an algorithm that alow users to use a mouse tohoose an object in the display,then the system willetect the connected voxels that constitute the objectnd eliminate other unrelated voxels implicitly.Inhis thesis we also discuss the termination problemnder a distributed system, which occures in theonnected components detection.
