碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 科技管理研究所 === 81 === The main purpose of this thesis is to develop suitable stra- tegies for firms of monitor in Taiwan to exploit resources or to cooperate with firms in mainland China. The research began with " Five competitive force analysis " and " Value chain analysis " of monitor industry in Taiwan, and then pick out those key factors which influence the long-term development of this industry. Then compare the status of those factors in Taiwan with that in mainland China, to point out po- ssible aspects for industrial cooperation. Then combined with the statistic results that drew from inspection of firms have invested in mainland China, finally got the suitable strategies and management of industrial cooperation of monitor across Tai- wan straits.
