This wedge was assumeed to be an independent planing surface of low aspect ratio (lf/b) and effective wetted length calcu- lated by Savistky's formula. Fromthe test results above,a set of formulas for predicting added lift, added drag and added moment was fitted out, and compared with Brown's and Wang's, this one was proved to be good.
