嘗試配合一以特徵為基礎的設計系統,並以物件導向設計的概念來架構尺
寸公差模型,此模型一方面提供處理尺寸與公差資料的能力,再配合加工
特徵的資料,便可確保下游的製造方面能得到充分的製造資料;另方面,
因尺寸可視為修改工件外形的一種工具,故此模型的另一任務便是讓使用
者能僅藉由修改尺寸而達到修改工件的目的,同時將尺寸視為控制工件幾
何的參數,以企圖達到某種程度的參數化設計。此外,如何用物件導向的
概念來架構此模型,使模組的修改與擴充更加容易,亦是本文的研究內容
之一。
Complete product data for CAD/CAM integration should include
form feature and tolerance information. A dimension and
tolerance (D&T) model for feature-based design system is
proposed and its framework is constructed with object-oriented
approach. This D&T model provides the necessary tolerance
information for downstream manufacture application. From a
different point of view, can be treated as a tool to modify the
shape of a product; therefore, this D&T model also supports the
variational geometry capability, that is, dimensions are
treated as parameters to control the geometry of a product.
