The system employs two photodetectors to cancel noise caused by amplitude fluctuation of laser and instability of coupling. In this study, both temperature sensing system and voltage sensing system are presented. In temperature sensing system, the obtained results show good agreement with predication of the associated theory, and the temperature sensitivities of two PMF fibers are obtained and compared. In voltage sensing system, the phase tracking with direct current(PTDC) technology is employed, which can automatically control the sensing system to work at quadrature point. At the end of the paper, we describe how to manage the presented sensing system as a temperature sensor and how to detect other physical parameters by this sensing system.
