Summary: | 碩士 === 大同工學院 === 機械工程研究所 === 81 === One of the major problems encountered in creep fe- ed grinding
with industrial experience is the damage to the workpiece and
grinding wheel. Thus in this pre- sent analysis, a heat
transfer model with the aid of finite difference method for
creep feed grinding is proposed and verified to predict the
workpiece surface temperature when grinding fluids are applied,
to dem- onstrate the fraction of heat entering into the work-
piece, to discern the influence of the cooling effect-
effictiveness of grinding fluids, and also to amnifest the
effect of specific grinding conditions to the work- piece
burning. Meanwhile, the scaling analysis is per- formed to
distinguish the conduction behavior in moving direction between
the conventional reciprocating grind- ing and creep feed
grinding. As compared with the pub- lished data, the thermal
model shows its validity for creep feed grinding process with
the utilization of soluable fluids.
