This and other features of optics complement the strengths and weaknesses of purely electronic systems. The compact free-space optical system that uses array of microlens for chip-to-chip and board-to-board interconnections are refined in this thesis. Here we propose a wavelength division architecture to improve the microlens interconnection system performance. We improve system capacity by 3 times and system crosstalk by 47dB. The practical applications and the system sensitivity studies are surveyed and discussed here. Chung J. Kuo 郭鐘榮 1994 學位論文 ; thesis 39 en_US
