Lithium Niobate with its novel electro-optic effect was employed as the optical modulation material in integrated optics. In order to transfer optical wave, the waveguide is fabricate in the Lithium Niobate by two differ- ent method: proton exchange and titanium indiffusion in this thesis. The optical characteristic of the waveguide are mea- sured. The influence of process parameters on the optical characteristic are discussed.
