quality. It causes flicker of lighting lamp and vedio screen as
well as endangers human eye''s health. This paper proposed a
digital prototype for the measurement of voltage
fluctuation after the survey of many country''s voltage
flicker limits. The design of the digital algorithm of
voltage measurement flicker includes the flicker definition
formula and the DSP algorithm. A pruning real-value FFT
algorithm is proposed for the latter, and the definitions of
the flicker severity and △ V10 are cited for the former.
The digital calculation algorithm was simulated,then a
prototype is constructed and tested on an arc furnace
feeder. The test results are proposed and discussed.
