We believe that, to extend the potential usefulness of OODBs beyond its existing applications, we must also support temporal features in OODBs. In this thesis, we study the storage structures for rollback object-oriented database management systems. We also run a series of simulations to compare their performance under different loads and analyze the storage requirement of these data structures. In addition, we suggest clustering strategies for these storage structures to improve the performance.
