the field of aerospace and precision machine industry. In this
thesis, the processes of the surface design and machin- ing for
the centrifugal compressor impellers are provided, and a CAD/
CAM system for impellers is also developed. When machining an
impeller,it is required to plan the appropriate tool paths, a
procedure that can be used to avoid undercutt- ing and
interference is proposed. By applying the results obtained in
this study, a desired impeller can be designed and machined
easily.
