Besides, discuss the related influenced factors on the single family children'' academic achievement, self concept, and life adjustment. The main fingings of this study were as follows: 1.The academic achievement, self concept, and life adjust- ment of the single family children is worse than the intact fa- mily''s. 2.The influenced factors on single family children''s under- achievement were sex and location; the influenced factors on single family children''s low self-concept were sex, grade and custody; the influenced factors on single family children''s life adjustment were sex, grade, the cause of single family and custody. Generally, the differences among the three facets: 1.The girls of the single family children were superior to boys. 2.The children of the city schools were superior to the children of the country schools. 3.The children of high grade were superior to the child- ren of low grade.
